A Starting Point for using Emacs & Evil-mode

(I wrote a bit about why Emacs and Vim on my blog and thought it might be nice to give some starting point for people that want to try it.)

If you just want to play around with Emacs & Evil mode do the following:

Install Docker CE for Windows
Go to Docker for Windows Settings -> General and enable Expose daemon on tcp://localhost:2375 without TLS.
This will enable the Docker remote API for requests, coming from localhost, not from another computer in your network. A TLS secured version is not yet supported in Docker for Windows. See docker/for-win#453 for more information. I also tried a daemon.json file with options tlscacert, tlscert, tlskey and tlsverify, but Docker for Windows crashed on booting.

How to change the background on Firefox to a dark one on new tab / loading screen ?

Type about:config in the URL bar
Search toolkit.legacyUserProfileCustomizations.stylesheets and double-click the field to set it to true
Type about:support in the URL bar
Look for Profile folder field and click on the open button next to it.

Download WSL2 Kernel
