A blow-by-blow of how we got the brand-new FiveM Enhanced launcher working under Bottles +
Wine on Linux, including every wrong turn. This is a write-up, not the tool — the automated
version lives in install.sh. Here we explain what we did, why, and where it
hurt.
Reality check (read once): this got the launcher working. Joining anti-cheat-protected servers still fails — Cfx.re doesn't support Linux, and we did not bypass the anti-cheat. See the last chapter for exactly where the legitimate road ends.
