Enable HiDPI mode in Mountain Lion w/o Quartz Debug
sudo defaults write /Library/Preferences/com.apple.windowserver DisplayResolutionEnabled -bool YES;
sudo defaults delete /Library/Preferences/com.apple.windowserver DisplayResolutionDisabled;
// by the way, you need to logout and log back in for this to take effect. Or at least that's what
// Quartz Debug says. Who knows, maybe it's lying?
// P.S. Go to [Apple menu --> System Preferences --> Displays --> Display --> Scaled] after logging
// back in, and you'll see a bunch of "HiDPI" resolutions in the list to choose from.

A script for quickly adding reminders to the Reminders app in Mountain Lion from Launchbar and Alfred. Save this as a .scpt and drop it in ~/Library/Application\ Support/LaunchBar/Actions
--Script for setting Reminders for LaunchBar and Alfred
--For Alfred, Applescript must NOT be set to run in Background otherwise date parsing does not work
--For LaunchBar, place the script in ~/Library/Scripts/LaunchBar
--by Michelle L. Gill, 10/07/2012
--Inspired by https://gist.github.com/3187630
--A related Alfred version 2 workflow can be found here: https://github.com/mlgill/alfred-workflow-create-reminder
--Changes
--02/01/2013 * Fixed an issue with setting the time when the hour is 12 and AM/PM (12-hour clock) is used
-- * Removed the ability to set seconds for the time since Reminders doesn't recognize them

Removes unavailable and preview albums from rdio. This is particularly useful after using the "Sync" feature, since it's useless and generates hundreds of "Unavailable" albums. Scroll to the bottom of your collection first, since it's lazy loaded.
(function(){
var i = 0;
var count = $('.Album.unavailable,.Album.preview').length;
console.log('Found ' + count + ' albums to remove');
var timeout = 0;
$('.Album.unavailable,.Album.preview').each(function(){
var instance_i = i++;
var album = $(this);
album.trigger('mouseover').mouseenter();
album.find('a,div,span,image').trigger('mouseover').mouseenter();

Improved script: - Check if run as root - Clarify rsync(1) flags - Add --inplace for performance, extra preservation flags - Check bless(8) target before setting Improved exclusion file: - Included files listed by Carbon Copy Cloner
#!/bin/bash
#
# This script backups an OS X system to an external volume, effectively
# cloning it. It is based on [0], [1] and [2] for OS X and [3] and [4] for
# Linux. One could also use commercial tools like SuperDuper! or Carbon Copy
# Cloner. The latter website has an interesting list[5] on what files to
# exclude when cloning.

# Exclusions (from CCC[5]), see rsync_excludes_osx.txt

AppleScript and JavaScript for Automation to get frontmost tab’s url and title of various browsers.
-- AppleScript --
-- This example is meant as a simple starting point to show how to get the information in the simplest available way.
-- Keep in mind that when asking for a `return` after another, only the first one will be output.
-- This method is as good as its JXA counterpart.
-- Webkit variants include "Safari", "Webkit", "Orion".
-- Specific editions are valid, including "Safari Technology Preview".
-- "Safari" Example:
tell application "Safari" to return name of front document

Script that reads OpenMeta tags and writes them to OS X Mavericks tags. http://mosx.tumblr.com/post/54049528297/convert-openmeta-to-os-x-mavericks-tags-with-this This requires a OpenMeta binary to be installed. Change its path, if you prefer it to be somewhere else. For the files to be processed properly don't include a trailing slash in `$files…
