Tested in MacOS Sonomia 14.5 (VMware-Workstation-Full-17.6.2-24409262.x86_64), I believe that works to another version
- Restart your Mac if it already started
- Enter in Recovery mode
- Go to "Utilities" on top of macOS bar and open the terminal
- Disable SIP (System Integrity Protection) with the command
csrutil disableat your own risk! - Leave Recovery mode and go to the macOS system again
- Open the terminal and use the
sudo nvram boot-args="serverperfmode=1 $(nvram boot-args 2>/dev/null | cut -f 2-)", if need to input your macOS password to authorize the operation - Check if changes were applied with
nvram boot-args
