Basic

Description	Command
Start a new session with session name	screen -S <session_name>
List running sessions / screens	screen -ls
Attach to a running session	screen -x
Attach to a running session with name	screen -r

i3 Window Manager Cheat Sheet

$mod refers to the modifier key (window/command or alt by default depending on config)

General

• startx i3 start i3 from command line
• $mod+<Enter> open a terminal
• $mod+d open dmenu (text based program launcher)
• $mod+r resize mode ( or to leave resize mode)
• $mod+shift+e exit i3

#You probably want to do this in root to reduce the amount of sudos required
su -

#Install iptables if you haven't already
#Alternatively use packet manager of your choice
apt-get install iptables

#Allow all incoming traffic to begin with
iptables -P INPUT ACCEPT
#Clean out any existing input rules. You may also remove the "INPUT" argument and run only "iptables -F" to clear all chains. When doing so, make sure there are no rules in other chains that you still need (list via "iptables -L"), for example Oracle cloud servers will have preset rules, which should not be removed.
