jj is still evolving quickly. If you use a newer release, check its changelog when a command or setting behaves differently

This guide takes you from installing jj to a comfortable daily workflow, then covers everything else for when you need it. Part 1 is all you need for everyday work. Part 2 goes deeper, one topic at a time

It is written for people who are new to jj and know at least the basics of Git. You need Git 2.41 or newer and a terminal: PowerShell on Windows, or Bash or Zsh on Ubuntu. Any text editor works
