Common Options

-#, --progress-bar Make curl display a simple progress bar instead of the more informational standard meter.

-b, --cookie <name=data> Supply cookie with request. If no =, then specifies the cookie file to use (see -c).

-c, --cookie-jar <file name> File to save response cookies to.

generate a base-64 encoded sha-256 password hash with openssl on the command line
# generate an SHA-256 password hash base64 encoded
echo -n "password" | openssl dgst -sha256 -binary | openssl base64
# better yet, use pepper (suffix the password with the pepper)
