This is a sample of AES encryption + decryption using CryptoJS. This is a bit different from the examples out there because this one uses a COMPANY header + payload. There's a little bit more processing going on. I also used a CDN for CryptoJS. I hope someone finds this useful.
<script src="https://cdnjs.cloudflare.com/ajax/libs/crypto-js/3.1.2/components/core-min.js"></script>
<script src="https://cdnjs.cloudflare.com/ajax/libs/crypto-js/3.1.2/components/sha256.js"></script>
<script src="https://cdnjs.cloudflare.com/ajax/libs/crypto-js/3.1.2/components/enc-base64.js"></script>
<script src="https://cdnjs.cloudflare.com/ajax/libs/crypto-js/3.1.2/rollups/aes.js"></script>
<script>
function toWordArray(str){
return CryptoJS.enc.Utf8.parse(str);
}
function toString(words){

Typical Directory structure for python tests

A Typical directory structure for running tests using unittest

Ref : stackoverflow

The best solution in my opinion is to use the unittest [command line interface][1] which will add the directory to the sys.path so you don't have to (done in the TestLoader class).

For example for a directory structure like this:

new_project

├── antigravity.py

Video stabilization using VidStab and FFMPEG (Mac OS X)

Video stabilization using VidStab and FFMPEG

Examples here use the default settings, see the VidStab readme on GitHub for more advanced instructions.

Here's an example video I made

Install ffmpeg with the vidstab plugin from homebrew

brew install ffmpeg --with-libvidstab

Python 2.7. Unicode Errors Simply Explained

Python 2.7. Unicode Errors Simply Explained

I know I'm late with this article for about 5 years or so, but people are still using Python 2.x, so this subject is relevant I think.

Some facts first:

  • Unicode is an international encoding standard for use with different languages and scripts
  • In python-2.x, there are two types that deal with text.
    1. str is an 8-bit string.
  1. unicode is for strings of unicode code points.

Folder Structure

Please note

While this gist has been shared and followed for years, I regret not giving more background. It was originally a gist for the engineering org I was in, not a "general suggestion" for any React app.

Typically I avoid folders altogether. Heck, I even avoid new files. If I can build an app with one 2000 line file I will. New files and folders are a pain.
