Below are the actual files we use in one of our latest production applications at Agora Games to achieve zero downtime deploys with unicorn. You've probably already read the GitHub blog post on Unicorn and would like to try zero downtime deploys for your application. I hope these files and notes help. I am happy to update these files or these notes if there are comments/questions. YMMV (of course).
Other application notes:
Salient points for each file:
solve = (s, c = 0) -> if c is 81 then s else if s[x = c/9|0][y = c%9] isnt 0 then solve s, c+1 else (([1..9].filter (g) -> ![0...9].some (i) -> g in [s[x][i], s[i][y], s[3*(x/3|0) + i/3|0][3*(y/3|0) + i%3]]).some (g) -> s[x][y] = g; solve s, c+1) or s[x][y] = 0 |
In August 2007 a hacker found a way to expose the PHP source code on facebook.com. He retrieved two files and then emailed them to me, and I wrote about the issue:
http://techcrunch.com/2007/08/11/facebook-source-code-leaked/
It became a big deal:
http://www.techmeme.com/070812/p1#a070812p1
The two files are index.php (the homepage) and search.php (the search page)
