Why Dispatch?

With Dispatch we're building a simple conversation tool that's focused on your work and connected to the cloud.

Dynamic documents from the cloud are at the center of every dispatch. See rich previews of the latest version of your work as soon as you make changes. Your work from cloud services like Dropbox, Evernote and Google Drive magically stays up to date inside Dispatch. No need to re-upload anything. As the conversations move forward, so do the previews of the things you're talking about.

The app brings your conversations into the context of the things you're working on, so that everything stays focused and organized. Everyone on the team can stay on the same page without extra work. To make life easier, team members get intelligent email notifications

The Modern Brain Trust Field Guide
====
Ideas in isolation aren't half as powerful as ideas shaped by a group of intelligent peers. Giving and receiving feedback on ideas and challenges helps everyone win. We don't always know the answer or have the motivation to think bigger. *Enter the brain trust...*
A modern brain trust is some form of mailing list or communication channel with a group of trusted peers all sharing and getting feedback on work.
Working on a new landing page? Post it to the trust. Testing out taglines for a campaign? Share it with the trust. Brainstorming a new idea? Share it with the trust.
Tips for starting your trust:
Learning as I Go (25 things I learned)
Last year I left High School and jumped into the working world, going full-time at [Dispatch](dispatch.io). This month, most of my peers from High School are wrapping up their freshman year. My goal has always been to learn as I go (hence the title of this blog). I wanted to take a look back at the last year and see how I've been doing on the learning front. I'm by no means an expert at any of things but, these are the things that stand out as things I've gotten better at.
Building up momentum for a blog
Never eating alone
Winning friends and influence people
Launching a partnership
Craft a pitch
Empathizing with users and doing support

Hi!

My birthday is in 1.5 months and I am curious if people would be interested in the following idea:

  1. You give me your passport number.
  2. I buy a plane ticket in your name for a predetermined weekend.
  3. You meet me at the airport on a pre-determined date and we fly to another country for the weekend and stay in a big airbnb.

Here are my questions
