Add powerline bin to your path. In your zshrc file (or the paths files sourced in zshrc) add the following line

PATH="/usr/local/share/python/:$PATH"

psql -U postgres

Some interesting flags (to see all, use -h or --help depending on your psql version):

-E: will describe the underlaying queries of the \ commands (cool for learning!)
-l: psql will list all databases and then exit (useful if the user you connect with doesn't has a default database, like at AWS RDS)

-To remove a submodule you need to:
-Delete the relevant line from the .gitmodules file.
-Delete the relevant section from .git/config.
-Run git rm --cached path_to_submodule (no trailing slash).
-Commit and delete the now untracked submodule files.
