Speed Test Stealth measures network performance without requiring an account.

Data the app uses

  • Speed-test traffic is sent to Cloudflare speed test endpoints to measure download speed, upload speed, latency, and jitter.
  • Your public IP address is sent to FreeIPAPI to estimate city, region, country, ISP, and approximate coordinates for the test result.
  • The app reads local network interface details, including network type, carrier name when available, and local IP address.
  • Test history is stored locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework.

Data the app does not use

  • The app does not include advertising SDKs.
  • The app does not include analytics SDKs.
  • The app does not track you across apps or websites.
  • The app does not require an account.
  • Saved test history is not uploaded by the app.

Third-party services

  • Cloudflare speed test endpoints: https://speed.cloudflare.com
  • FreeIPAPI geolocation service: https://freeipapi.com

These services receive network requests required for the app's core speed test and approximate network-location features.
