Use an external graphics processor with your Mac
Your Thunderbolt 3-equipped Mac running macOS High Sierra 10.13.4 or later can access additional graphics performance by connecting to an external graphics processor (also known as an eGPU).
An eGPU can give your Mac additional graphics performance for professional apps, 3D gaming, VR content creation, and more.
eGPUs are supported by any Thunderbolt 3-equipped Mac1 running macOS High Sierra 10.13.4 or later. Learn how to update the software on your Mac.
Using menu bar item to disconnect eGPU
An eGPU lets you do all this on your Mac:

Digital camera RAW formats supported by iOS 11 and macOS High Sierra
iOS and macOS include system-level support for RAW images taken by many cameras.
iOS 11 and macOS High Sierra include enhanced support for processing digital camera RAW formats, providing better detail and improved noise reduction. These RAW formats offer greater image-editing flexibility on macOS with Photos, Preview, and many third-party apps, and on iOS using third-party apps that support RAW.1
Support for additional RAW formats is added over time. This list is current as of 26 November 2018 and reflects compatibility for the latest versions of iOS 11 and macOS High Sierra.

32-bit app compatibility with macOS High Sierra 10.13.4
About the transition to 64-bit technology and how it affects 32-bit apps.
App is not optimized for your Mac. This app needs to be updated by its developer to improve compatibility.
State-of-the-art technology is what makes a Mac a Mac. All modern Macs include powerful 64-bit processors, and macOS runs advanced 64-bit apps, which can access dramatically more memory and enable faster system performance. The technologies that define today's Mac experience—such as Metal graphics acceleration—work only with 64-bit apps. To ensure that the apps you purchase are as advanced as the Mac you run them on, all future Mac software will eventually be required to be 64-bit.
Apple began the transition to 64-bit hardware and software technology for Mac over a decade ago, and is working with developers to transition their apps to 64-bit. At our Worldwide Developers Conference in 2017, Apple informed developers that macOS High Sierra would be the last version o
Using HEIF or HEVC media on Apple devices
Upgrade to iOS 11 or macOS High Sierra to view, edit, or duplicate HEIF or HEVC media captured with an iOS device.
iOS 11 and macOS High Sierra include support for these new, industry-standard media formats:
HEIF (High Efficiency Image File Format) for photos
HEVC (High Efficiency Video Coding), also known as H.265, for videos
HEIF and HEVC offer better compression than JPEG and H.264, so they use less storage space on your devices and iCloud Photo Library, while preserving the same visual quality.
To fully view, edit, or duplicate HEIF and HEVC media on your device, upgrade to the latest version of iOS 11 or macOS High Sierra.
