一部の Mac モデルは Adaptive Sync に対応しています。Adaptive Sync は、コンテンツのフレームレートに合わせてリフレッシュレートを適宜調整できるようにするディスプレイテクノロジーです。

必要なもの
Adaptive Syncディスプレイで可変リフレッシュレートを使うには、macOS Monterey以降を搭載した以下のいずれかのモデルのMacが必要です。

Summary
Starting July 13, 2026, some users may notice that Office apps (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, or OneNote) can open and print files, but cannot edit, save, or create new files – called “reduced functionality mode”. This happens when support for Microsoft Office apps is no longer continued for older operating systems or devices.

This issue affects both Microsoft 365 subscribers on macOS, iPhone, and iPad, and those with non-subscription software, including Office 2021 or Office 2019 on macOS. For most users, updating your OS, and updating your apps will resolve it.

About support for encrypted Mac OS Extended disks in macOS 28 or later
In macOS 28 and later, the Mac OS Extended file system format will be supported only for volumes (disks and other storage devices) that aren't encrypted. For future macOS compatibility, either decrypt or reformat any encrypted Mac OS Extended volumes.

Check the volume’s format and encryption
Starting with macOS 26, your Mac might notify you that you’re using an encrypted Mac OS Extended disk and that it won’t be compatible with macOS 28 or later.

The notification will identify the volume by name, but if you want to confirm that the volume is using Mac OS Extended format and is encrypted:

Open Disk Utility, which is in the Utilities folder of your Applications folder. Or use Spotlight to find and open it.

Turn on Apple Intelligence
To get started with Apple Intelligence features on your compatible iPhone, iPad, Mac, or Apple Vision Pro, update your device to the latest software version, and ensure you have Apple Intelligence turned on in Settings under Apple Intelligence & Siri.

After you update your software, on-device Apple Intelligence models will start downloading; time to download varies. For the fastest model download experience, keep your device connected to Wi-Fi and power while models are downloading.

To access Apple Intelligence features on a compatible Apple Watch, ensure it is paired with an Apple Intelligence-enabled iPhone.
