Skip migrations for a Django 1.7 test run
# If your test settings file doesn't import any other settings file
# then you can use the function directly:
def prevent_tests_migrate(db):
import django
from django.db import connections
from django.db.migrations.executor import MigrationExecutor
django.setup()
ma = MigrationExecutor(connections[db]).loader.migrated_apps
return dict(zip(ma, ['{a}.notmigrations'.format(a=a) for a in ma]))

Steps to migrate from SVN to GitLab

Steps to migrate from SVN to GitLab

This process worked for me. I take no responsibility for any damage or loss incurred as a result of following or not following these steps or, for that matter, anything else you might do or not do.

Setup

  • SVN is hosted at svn.domain.com.au.
  • SVN is accessible via http (other protocols should work).
  • GitLab is hosted at git.domain.com.au and:

Parse (mostly) RFC822-compliant headers.

// Parse (mostly) RFC822-compliant headers.
//
// This will parse header blocks that conform to [RFC822 Section 3][], as well as a few variations of that standard.
// One major deviation is that this library treats '\r\n' and '\n' as the same, so headers separated by either will be
// parsed.

Backtick Example Command

This is an example command for Backtick. A Backtick command consists of some executable JavaScript and a bit of metadata in JSON.

Here are the required steps to create a command:

  1. Create a new Gist with a command.js and command.json file, or simply fork this one.

  2. Write your JavaScript in command.js. This will be injected into and executed on the page the user is currently on when they run it.

  3. Add some metadata to the command.json file:

  • name: The name of the command.
