In your local clone of your forked repository, you can add the original GitHub repository as a "remote". ("Remotes" are like nicknames for the URLs of repositories - origin is one, for example.) Then you can fetch all the branches from that upstream repository, and rebase your work to continue working on the upstream version. In terms of commands that might look like:
git remote add upstream https://github.com/whoever/whatever.git
git fetch upstream
Ever wanted to delete all your likes/favorites from Twitter but only found broken/expensive tools? You are in the right place.
- Go to: https://twitter.com/{username}/likes
- Open the console and run the following JavaScript code:
setInterval(() => {
for (const d of document.querySelectorAll('div[data-testid="unlike"]')) {
d.click()
}For some reason, it is surprisingly hard to create a bootable Windows USB using macOS. These are my steps for doing so, which have worked for me in macOS Monterey (12.6.1) for Windows 10 and 11. After following these steps, you should have a bootable Windows USB drive.
You can download Windows 10 or Windows 11 directly from Microsoft.
After plugging the drive to your machine, identify the name of the USB device using diskutil list, which should return an output like the one below. In my case, the correct disk name is disk2.
