Introduction

• This script lets you set up and use a temporary DigitalOcean droplet to download torrent files.
• Once downloaded, they can be streamed down to your local machine.
• This uses transmission-cli for the torrent client, and nginx to serve files.

Setup on Local Machine

• This assumes that you have a DigitalOcean account and tugboat set up, as well as seedbox-setup.sh present in the current directory.

How to connect an iOS device to your computer via a SOCKS proxy

Say you're running a virtual machine on your work computer. Say this machine, for whatever reason, can only connect to the internet over NAT - as in, it does not get it's own IP address. Say this VM is running a webserver, and you need a device outside of your computer to connect to it.

If only there was a way to get your work computer to 'share' it's network, so that you could get at that VM… Here's how you do it!

For all instructions, I assume your work computer is a mac

Start triggers fire regardless of other conditions

For example, StartOnMount=true will cause the job to start when anything is mounted even if other conditions, e.g. QueueDirectories, say the job should not run

The StartInterval timer begins ticking at the moment the plist is loaded. If something like QueueDirectories is preventing the job from
