Modal Animation Physics

Modal Animation Physics

Messing around with keyframe/transition physics for a modal. Mostly focused on the timing between the overlay, modal container, and modal content to try to make the whole event look more organic. Believe it or not, inspired by the menu pop-ups in Super Mario 3D. Enjoy

Show header when page scrolled up

Show header when page scrolled up

The header hides when scrolling down the page but reappears when scrolling back up.

If you're on a really long page this gives easy access to the header/navigation by indicating you want back to the top - without the need to scroll right the way up.

Velocity.js slice + sequence

Velocity.js slice + sequence

Animate different boxes with different animations and sequence it. This demo has a bounch of stuff not needed for a basic slice + sequence since everything is wrapped up in a function and lots of if/else statements.

<h1><span>mmmmmm</span>Coffee</h1>
<p>Coffee is a brewed beverage preparedfrom the roasted or baked seeds of several species of an evergreen shrub of the genus Coffea. The two most common sources of coffee beans are the highly regarded Coffea arabica, and the "robusta" form of the hardier Coffea canephora. The latter is resistant to the coffee leaf rust (Hemileia vastatrix), but has a more bitter taste. Coffee plants are cultivated in more than 70 countries, primarily in equatorial Latin America, Southeast Asia, and Africa. Once ripe, coffee "berries" are picked, processed and dried to yield the seeds inside. The seeds are then roasted to varying degrees, depending on the desired flavor, before being ground and brewed to create coffee.Coffee is a brewed beverage preparedfrom the roasted or baked seeds of several species of an evergreen shrub of the genus Coffea.
