After downloading the image for your device:

Make sure you have a Moto Pure Edition or a Developer Edition device.
Make sure you download the corresponding recovery image from the above portal.

To flash, put the phone in fastboot mode:

Power OFF your device

Open Powershell with administrative permissions:

Double-check that you're dealing with the right image

qemu-img info filesystem.qcow2

Increase the image by (e.g.) 10GB

qemu-img resize filesystem.qcow2 +10G

Backup image since we can't resize an image in-place

cp filesystem.qcow2 filesystem-orig.qcow2

Expand the virtfs

If you have Signal installed as a Flatpak and want to run multiple, separate copies of it for different Signal accounts, it just requires making a new data directory for "Signal2" and adding a new desktop file.

mkdir -p ~/.var/app/org.signal.Signal2

Next, make a filesystem override so the Flatpak can access that path:
