I use tmux splits (panes). Inside one of these panes there's a Vim process, and it has its own splits (windows).
In Vim I have key bindings C-h/j/k/l set to switch windows in the given direction. (Vim default mappings for windows switching are the same, but prefixed with C-W.) I'd like to use the same keystrokes for switching tmux panes.
An extra goal that I've solved with a dirty hack is to toggle between last active panes with C-\.
Here's how it should work:

I have marked with a * those which I think are absolutely essential Items for each section are sorted by oldest to newest. Come back soon for more!
ctrl-r searches your command history as you typecommand < file.in with command <<< "some input text"Locate the section for your github remote in the .git/config file. It looks like this:
[remote "origin"]
fetch = +refs/heads/*:refs/remotes/origin/*
url = [email protected]:joyent/node.git
Now add the line fetch = +refs/pull/*/head:refs/remotes/origin/pr/* to this section. Obviously, change the github url to match your project's URL. It ends up looking like this:
| #!/bin/sh | |

Ok, I geeked out, and this is probably more information than you need. But it completely answers the question. Sorry. ☺
