What forces layout / reflow

All of the below properties or methods, when requested/called in JavaScript, will trigger the browser to synchronously calculate the style and layout*. This is also called reflow or layout thrashing, and is common performance bottleneck.

Generally, all APIs that synchronously provide layout metrics will trigger forced reflow / layout. Read on for additional cases and details.

Set up a VPN Server (PPTP) on AWS

Create a EC2 instance using Ubuntu 14.04.
In Secure Group Inbound Rules, add a SSH Rule(TCP, Port 22, 0.0.0.0/0) and a Custom TCP Rule(TCP, Port 1723, 0.0.0.0/0).
Optional: Associate a Elastic IP with the instance.
SSH into the instance.
sudo apt-get install pptpd.
sudo vim /etc/pptpd.conf. Uncomment localip 192.168.0.1 and remoteip 192.168.0.234-238,192.168.0.245.
sudo vim /etc/ppp/pptpd-options. Uncomment ms-dns and ms-wins. Change the IP to Google's DNS like this:
