RPi: OSMC & shairport-sync #raspberrypi

Raspberry Pi with OSMC and shairport-sync

It is assumed that OSMC is installed and running on the Raspberry, and the Airport service should be disabled (though it doesn't have to be, but who needs two Airplay services). OSMC is based on Debian 8 (Jessie).

If you get Error opening terminal when opening nano or alsamixer, update the current TERM:

Update node with nvm, migrating global modules
# Usage: nvmi v6.0.1 (will install specified version)
# Usage: nvmi_latest (will install latest node version)
# these functions will replace the current 'default' version known in the shell.
# to install a node version next to your current 'default' just use nvm install vX.X.X
function nvmi() {
CURRENT=$(node -v)
nvm install $1 --reinstall-packages-from=$CURRENT

The default values for .bithoundrc that customizes bitHound project analysis. If you like the defaults and want to make additions, keep the contents of this file and add your values. Commit this file directly to your project's root and bitHound will pick it up on the next round of analysis.

Majority of search result about unit testing Angular.js apps is about how to do it by using test frameworks that run the tests in a real browser. Even though it's great to be able to test your code in multiple platforms, in my opinion it creates a lot of boilerplate code and makes it hard to run the tests in, for instance a CI-server.

Testing Angular.js app headlessly with node.js + mocha

Lean unit tests with minimal setup
