Processing JSON using jq

jq is useful to slice, filter, map and transform structured json data.

Installing jq

On Mac OS

brew install jq

yalab

$ echo 'gem "webpacker"' >> Gemfile
$ bundle install
$ rails webpacker:install
$ yarn add bootstrap@4.0.0-beta jquery popper.js

Installing pg gem on macOS

If you're trying to install the postgresql gem pg and it is failing with the following error message:
