Magic words:

psql -U postgres

Some interesting flags (to see all, use -h or --help depending on your psql version):

-E: will describe the underlaying queries of the \ commands (cool for learning!)
-l: psql will list all databases and then exit (useful if the user you connect with doesn't has a default database, like at AWS RDS)

Android Studio Shortcuts (Mac)

Notes:

Two of the most useful shortcuts utilize the Fn (function) keys. It is therefore recommended that you enable the "Use all F1, F2, etc. keys as standard function keys" option [System Preferences > Keyboard].
Be sure to enable the Mac OS X 10.5+ keymap in Android Studio [Preferences > Keymap].

Unit files to deploy an ElasticSearch cluster on CoreOS via Fleet.

Service discovery & registration is done via etcd.

[email protected] provides a dumb discovery service by registering an elasticsearch host if it should be up. [email protected] registers the service only if it is running.

To remove a submodule you need to:

Delete the relevant section from the .gitmodules file.
Stage the .gitmodules changes git add .gitmodules
Delete the relevant section from .git/config.
Run git rm --cached path_to_submodule (no trailing slash).
Run rm -rf .git/modules/path_to_submodule (no trailing slash).
Commit git commit -m "Removed submodule "
Delete the now untracked submodule files rm -rf path_to_submodule
