Installing Xdebug for XAMPP with PHP 7.x

Requirements

XAMPP for Windows: https://www.apachefriends.org/download.html
Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable for Visual Studio 2015, 2017 and 2019

Setup

Install Terminator (shell)

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:gnome-terminator
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install terminator

Terminator should be setup as default now. Restart your terminal (shortcut: "Ctrl+Alt+T").
