Simple Github -> Discord webhook

Step 1 - Make a Discord Webhook

  1. Find the Discord channel in which you would like to send commits and other updates

  2. In the settings for that channel, find the Webhooks option and create a new webhook. Note: Do NOT give this URL out to the public. Anyone or service can post messages to this channel, without even needing to be in the server. Keep it safe! WebhookDiscord

Step 2 - Set up the webhook on Github

  1. Navigate to your repository on Github, and open the Settings Settings

Extracting / Exporting custom emoji from Slack

Extracting Emoji From Slack!

Slack doesn't provide an easy way to extract custom emoji from a team. (Especially teams with thousands of custom emoji) This Gist walks you through a relatively simple approach to get your emoji out.

If you're an admin of your own team, you can get the list of emoji directly using this API: https://api.slack.com/methods/emoji.list. Once you have it, skip to Step 3

HOWEVER! This gist is intended for people who don't have admin access, nor access tokens for using that list.

Follow along...

Inject a service from the service container

Inject a Service in Drupal 8

Is a good practice to inject a service whenever is possible.

You can verify the service name by:

Looking at the Drupal Static Service Container wrapper class.

Reading the code on the Drupal Class you can find the httpClient method:

 /**
import urllib
import os
import tweepy
import csv
import time
import PIL
from PIL import Image, ImageOps
