One day I randomly joined a server, without even getting invited. My account wasn't token grabbed, I knew it was a connection with my profile which allowed someone to join servers using my account. I took a look at the server, and it was (how expected) a Nitro server. There are over 10.000 nitro scam servers, I know. But this one was different. The owner of it was a guy named "Wumpus". As always, the owner had locked DMs etc. Well, there was a message containing a link: "discordgift.club/9238t4sdf". Also, the message was faking a nitro gift using an embed. Well, I clicked the link because I wanted to check it out. It redirected me to a oAuth2 link: A bot called "Claim" wanted me to give it the permission to join servers. I authorized since I was curious. After authorization, it downloaded a file called "main.exe". A token grabber, of course. I checked the page source and found some reference to a website: "dis.cheap". I opened the website, it was obviously a scamming discord tools

--- OUR STATEMENT TO FAKE BOT --- | |
There is a bot which has the same Avatar and Name as Coral. Please make sure when inviting a bot called "Coral" that its tag is Coral#3503, not any other one. Also keep in mind that my bot is officially verified by discord, the fake bot isn't. The fake bot may raid/nuke your server, so watch out. Someone's obviously trying to ruin the real Coral. The creator of the fake bot abuses the trust many people had in my bot. | |
--------------------------------- | |
I, am the real creator of Coral#3503, and I would never hurt somebody using my bot. | |
