Marked 2 preprocessor - "Lazy" footnotes.
Allows use of `[^]` or `†` footnote references
where the next [^]: or †: note defines the text of the footnote.

Things to commit just before leaving your job
// Just before switching jobs:
// Add one of these.
// Preferably into the same commit where you do a large merge.
//
// This started as a tweet with a joke of "C++ pro-tip: #define private public",
// and then it quickly escalated into more and more evil suggestions.
// I've tried to capture interesting suggestions here.

Prepend the debugger statement to a function as easy as stopBefore('Element.prototype.removeChild'). Works in Chrome DevTools and Safari Inspector, doesn’t work in Firebug‘s and Firefox Developer Tools‘ console (I don’t know why). Works as a standalone script everywhere.

stopBefore.js

2min screencast

Examples

stopBefore(document, 'getElementById')
stopBefore('document.getElementById') // the same as the previous
stopBefore(Element.prototype, 'removeChild')

Possibly the dumbest script ever. Why make this gist public? Why not, I ask you, why not?
