Replace .bashrc, .bash_profile, .profile, etc. with something much more clean, consistent, and meaningful. Now a repo: https://github.com/josephwecker/bashrc_dispatch
#!/bin/bash
# License: Public Domain.
# Author: Joseph Wecker, 2012
#
# -- DEPRICATED --
# This gist is slow and is missing .bashrc_once
# Use the one in the repo instead! https://github.com/josephwecker/bashrc_dispatch
# (Thanks gioele)
#
# Are you tired of trying to remember what .bashrc does vs .bash_profile vs .profile?

Checkout github pull requests locally

Locate the section for your github remote in the .git/config file. It looks like this:

[remote "origin"]
	fetch = +refs/heads/*:refs/remotes/origin/*
	url = [email protected]:joyent/node.git

Now add the line fetch = +refs/pull/*/head:refs/remotes/origin/pr/* to this section. Obviously, change the github url to match your project's URL. It ends up looking like this:

NOTE: Not updated since early 2013 - likely will not work with modern EmberData. Ember.JS, ember-data, and socket.io adapter. Not as primitive as the initial version and it supports object creation/deletion/etc. Does not support bulk updates like the first one just to keep it simple. Does support ember-data revision 11 and does support queries/f…
