Merge Folders AppleScript

Installation

  • Run Automator
  • Select Service as the new document type
  • Find Run AppleScript from the Library and drag into the workflow
  • Copy the script code into the Run AppleScript action
  • Save as Merge Folders

Checkout github pull requests locally

Locate the section for your github remote in the .git/config file. It looks like this:

[remote "origin"]
	fetch = +refs/heads/*:refs/remotes/origin/*
	url = [email protected]:joyent/node.git

Now add the line fetch = +refs/pull/*/head:refs/remotes/origin/pr/* to this section. Obviously, change the github url to match your project's URL. It ends up looking like this:

Nginx configuration for Mac OS X with Homebrew, using sites-enabled directory. 
mkdir -p /usr/local/etc/nginx/sites-{enabled,available}
cd /usr/local/etc/nginx/sites-enabled
ln -s ../sites-available/default.conf
ln -s ../sites-available/default-ssl.conf

File locations:

  • nginx.conf to /usr/local/etc/nginx/
  • default.conf and default-ssl.conf to /usr/local/etc/nginx/sites-available
  • homebrew.mxcl.nginx.plist to /Library/LaunchDaemons/
