tmux cheatsheet

start new:

tmux

start new with session name:

(C-x means ctrl+x, M-x means alt+x)

Prefix key

The default prefix is C-b. If you (or your muscle memory) prefer C-a, you need to add this to ~/.tmux.conf:

remap prefix to Control + a

Sessions

New Session

tmux new [-s name] [cmd] (:new) - new session

Switch Session

tmux ls (:ls) - list sessions
tmux switch [-t name] (:switch) - switches to an existing session

Create a new repository, or reuse an existing one.

Generate a new SSH key:

ssh-keygen -t rsa -C "[email protected]"

Copy the contents of the file ~/.ssh/id_rsa.pub to your SSH keys in your GitHub account settings (https://github.com/settings/keys).

Test SSH key:

This is a small demo of how to create a library in Rust and call it from Python (both CPython and PyPy) using the CFFI instead of ctypes.

Based on http://harkablog.com/calling-rust-from-c-and-python.html (dead) which used ctypes

CFFI is nice because:

Reads C declarations (parses headers)
Works in both CPython and PyPy (included with PyPy)
Lower call overhead than ctypes

Dart VM FFI Vision

Background

The aim of Dart FFI project (tracked as Issue #34452) is to provide a low boilerplate, low ceremony & low overhead way of interoperating with native C/C++ code.

The motivation behind this project is twofold:
