OS X Screencast to animated GIF

My notes for Dokku on Digital Ocean.

These may be a bit outdated: Since I originally wrote them, I've reinstalled on a newer Dokku and may not have updated every section below.

Commands

Install dokku-cli (gem install dokku-cli) for a more Heroku-like CLI experience (dokku config:set FOO=bar).

Troubleshooting Valet on Sierra

Common Problems

Problem: I just see "It works!"

Apache is running on port 80 and interfering with Valet.

1. Stop Apache: sudo /usr/sbin/apachectl stop
2. Restart Valet: valet restart

Setup

First of all, you need to have a gh-pages. If you don't have, create:

git branch gh-pages

This makes a branch based on the master HEAD. It would be okay but the files and the git history of master branch are not meaningful on gh-pages branch.
