Add doker-compose as a systemd unit

Docker compose as a systemd unit

Create file /etc/systemd/system/[email protected]. SystemD calling binaries using an absolute path. In my case is prefixed by /usr/local/bin, you should use paths specific for your environment.

[Unit]
Description=%i service with docker compose
PartOf=docker.service
After=docker.service

snoopy.c - process_vm_readv() demonstration.
/**
* snoopy.c - Snoop on another tasks memory.
* Fergus In London <[email protected]>
*
* This is a pretty basic demo of the process_vm_readv syscall, a syscall which
* provides a nicer interface than ptrace for accessing memory used by another
* task.
*
* To play with simply use `ps` to get a PID for the process you'd like to snoop
* on, and `pmap` for the relevant memory address.

Docker Swarm Port Requirements, both Swarm Mode 1.12+ and Swarm Classic, plus AWS Security Group Style Tables

Docker Swarm Mode Ports

Starting with 1.12 in July 2016, Docker Swarm Mode is a built-in solution with built-in key/value store. Easier to get started, and fewer ports to configure.

Inbound Traffic for Swarm Management

  • TCP port 2377 for cluster management & raft sync communications
  • TCP and UDP port 7946 for "control plane" gossip discovery communication between all nodes
  • UDP port 4789 for "data plane" VXLAN overlay network traffic
  • IP Protocol 50 (ESP) if you plan on using overlay network with the encryption option
