Handlebars random JavaScript expression execution, with an IF helper with whatever logical operands and whatever arguments, and few more goodies.
// for detailed comments and demo, see my SO answer here http://stackoverflow.com/questions/8853396/logical-operator-in-a-handlebars-js-if-conditional/21915381#21915381
/* a helper to execute an IF statement with any expression
USAGE:
-- Yes you NEED to properly escape the string literals, or just alternate single and double quotes
-- to access any global function or property you should use window.functionName() instead of just functionName()
-- this example assumes you passed this context to your handlebars template( {name: 'Sam', age: '20' } ), notice age is a string, just for so I can demo parseInt later
<p>
{{#xif " name == 'Sam' && age === '12' " }}

Include the minified version at the top of any of our .jsx script files and then you can include files from adobe_scripts/lib just by calling Libraries.include("subdir/myscript")
// Assumes that your script is somewhere within a folder called "adobe_scripts" and
// that you store your includable files relative to `adobe_scripts/lib/`
// indexOf polyfill from https://gist.github.com/atk/1034425
[].indexOf||(Array.prototype.indexOf=function(a,b,c){for(c=this.length,b=(c+~~b)%c;b<c&&(!(b in this)||this[b]!==a);b++);return b^c?b:-1;});
var Libraries = (function (libPath) {
return {
include: function (path) {
if (!path.match(/\.jsx$/i)) {

Using Yeoman with Compass Sprites

Yeoman + Compass Sprites

Setup

generator-webapp has support for compass out of the box. However, in order to use one of my favorite features of it — sprites and the image_url helper — you have to make some adjustments to the Gruntfile.

Let's assume you use a SASS stylesheet like this one:

@import "design/*.png"
