This note describes the configuration of an ATtiny85 based microcontroller development board named Digispark and similar to the Arduino line. It is available in many online marketplaces for roughly 1 dollar (e.g., Ebay, Amazon, AliExpress) and is shipped fully assembled, including a V-USB interface (a software-only implementation of a low-speed USB device for Atmel's AVR microcontrollers). Intel for display, NVIDIA for computing

This guide will show you how to use Intel graphics for rendering display and NVIDIA graphics for CUDA computing on Ubuntu 18.04 / 20.04 desktop.

I made this work on an ordinary gaming PC with two graphics devices, an Intel UHD Graphics 630 plus an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 Ti. Both of them can be shown via lspci | grep VGA.

There are many instructions to syncronize your files with OneDrive cloud-based storage in Linux. However they typically address multiple Linux distributions that often causes a confusion or an use of some commands which have not been actually tested before publishing. This instruction is for Ubuntu 18.04 and 20.04 (64 bit) only.

In order to install onedrive, first you need to install some dependencies and set up git.

WSL2 with GUI using Xvnc

If you want to use pure WSLg, you can try the new WSLg (XWayland) tutorial or the WSLg (Wayland) tutorial.

In this tutorial, we will setup GUI in WSL2, and access it using VNC. No additional software outside WSL (like VcXsrv) is required, except, of course, a VNC Viewer (RealVNC, TightVNC, TigerVNC, UVNC, etc, all of them might work flawlessly).

The key component we need to install is the desktop metapackage you want (GNOME, KDE, Xfce, Budgie, etc) and tigervnc-standalone-server.

For this setup, I will use Ubuntu (20.04, 22.04 and 24.04 are working), and install GNOME Desktop. Since the key components aren't bound to Ubuntu or GNOME, you can use your favorite distro and GUI. Check the [Sample
