Private variables in ES6 Classes.
/**
* So, obviously this is by no means a "new trick",
* but encapsulation in classes works the same as
* it does in "Modules" (IIFE pattern): You hide them
* in a scope, and define the methods that need access
* to them within that same scope. The constructor is

Integrating React with Marionette

Integrating React with Marionette

See ReactComponentView and BackboneModelWatchMixin, below.

Notes

The BackboneModelWatchView could use some additional methods to allow adding/removing watched models after the component is created.

function AjaxError(jqXHR, textStatus, errorThrown) {
this.name = "AjaxError";
this.message = textStatus;
this.jqXHR = jqXHR;
this.errorThrown = errorThrown;
}
AjaxError.prototype = new Error();
AjaxError.prototype.constructor = AjaxError;

OLOO (objects linked to other objects) pattern explored (with comparison to the prototype style of the same code)
function Foo(who) {
this.me = who;
}
Foo.prototype.identify = function() {
return "I am " + this.me;
};
function Bar(who) {
Foo.call(this,"Bar:" + who);
