Intro

Setup GitHub Pages "gh-pages" branch as a subfolder within the "master" project on your local checkout.

IMPORTANT

If you plan on switching between different branches (e.g. git checkout master-experiment then revert back with git checkout master) you will loose your child folder from this tutorial (because it's in your .gitignore and is not part of your master branch).

How to get a remote repository (from BitBucket, GitHub or anyone)

$ git clone https://github.com/<username>/<repository>.git

If you have added a SSH key, then you can also use this command:

$ git clone [email protected]:<username>/<repository>.git

How to create a new repository from the command line

Save this file as ai2svg, make it executable via chmod +x ai2svg then run it optionally passing the folder to look for.

It will convert in that folder, or the current one, all .ai files into .svg

Problem

I have two Github accounts: oanhnn (personal) and superman (for work). I want to use both accounts on same computer (without typing password everytime, when doing git push or pull).

Solution

Use ssh keys and define host aliases in ssh config file (each alias for an account).

How to?

Generate ssh key pairs for accounts and add them to GitHub accounts.

Utility classes

When writing a string of multiple utility classes, always do so in an order with meaning. The "Concentric CSS" approach works well with utility classes (i.e,. 1. positioning/visibility 2. box model 3. borders 4. backgrounds 5. typography 6. other visual adjustments). Once you establish a familiar pattern of ordering, parsing through long strings of utility classes will become much, much faster so a little more effort up front goes a long way!
Always use fewer utility classes when possible. For example, use mx-2 instead of ml-2 mr-2 and don't be afraid to use the simpler p-4 lg:pt-8 instead of the longer, more complicated pt-4 lg:pt-8 pr-4 pb-4 pl-4.
Prefix all utility classes that will only apply at a certain breakpoint with that breakpoint's prefix. For example, use block lg:flex lg:flex-col lg:justify-center instead of block lg:flex flex-col justify-center to make it very clear that the flexbox utilities are only applicable at the
