Grids are central to many types of geospatial analysis. They provide a spatially normalized method of binning and data aggregation that can be generated anywhere on earth, regardless of the availability of boundary data. With Turf 2.0.0, grids are exceptionally simple to create and manipulate. In this example, we have aggregated 60 years of hail data across several types of grid visualizations. Try selecting the various grid types for yourself, including heatmaps generated from point grids.
