List of Linux networking tools

netstat (ss)

Displays contents of /proc/net files. It works with the Linux Network Subsystem, it will tell you what the status of ports are ie. open, closed, waiting, masquerade connections. It will also display various other things. It has many different options. Netstat (Network Statistic) command display connection info, routing table information etc. To displays routing table information use option as -r.

Sample output:

Telegram webhooks with nginx reverse proxy

Make config file:

sudo nano /etc/nginx/sites-available/bot.conf

Then copy and paste bot.conf content and edit YOUR.DOMAIN strings. Now install Let's Encrypt on your server. For example in Debian you need to add jessie-backports and easily install it with apt-get:

sudo apt-get install -t jessie-backports letsencrypt

Then get cert for you domain:

Let's Encrypt Nginx setup with Ansible
Ansible playbook to setup HTTPS using Let's encrypt on nginx.
The Ansible playbook installs everything needed to serve static files from a nginx server over HTTPS.
The server pass A rating on [SSL Labs](https://www.ssllabs.com/).
To use:
1. Install [Ansible](https://www.ansible.com/)
2. Setup an Ubuntu 16.04 server accessible over ssh
3. Create `/etc/ansible/hosts` according to template below and change example.com to your domain
4. Copy the rest of the files to an empty directory (`playbook.yml` in the root of that folder and the rest in the `templates` subfolder)
ziping files/directories examples
Creates the archive data.zip and puts all the files in the current directory in it in compressed form, type:
$ zip data *
Note: No need to add .zip extension or suffix as it is added automatically by zip command.
Use the ls command to verify new zip file:
$ ls
