Travis CI + iOS code signing

Build ios app for iphoneos sdk with signing using Travis ci.

  1. Export your private key that you are going to use for signing from Keychain Access app to ~/privateKey.p12 with export password __YourRandomPass22
  2. Fetch script and run it from your Travis-enabled target iOS app repo: IOS_IDENTITY_KEY=~/privateKey.p12 IOS_IDENTITY_KEY_PASSWORD=__YourRandomPass22 bash <(curl -s https://gist.githubusercontent.com/darvin/96a3af399d0b970a59b1/raw/setup_travis_ios_signing.sh)
  3. Review changes and commit. It suppose to work now.

Install Ubiquiti's UniFi Controller on a Raspberry Pi

Compatibility

I currently run Ubiquiti's UniFi Controller on a Raspberry Pi 3B without issue. I have tried with a Raspberry Pi 1B, but the application crashes on startup. I assume it is due to a lack of RAM. Presumably, it would run on a Raspberry Pi 2B as well (same amount of RAM), but I have not tested it on this model. YMMV.

Instructions

  1. Install Raspbian on a SD card. I tested this with Jessie Lite (headless)

  2. Use raspi-config to expand the filesystem, rename your PI, etc

Definitely prevent stubborn devices from being bound by the host driver in PCI passthrough scenario

Scenario

You're running a KVM-based virtualization. You want to do PCI/PCIe passthrough of some device. You don't want it to attach to the host OS at all.

Your device looks like that:

00:1f.2 SATA controller [0106]: Intel Corporation 6 Series/C200 Series Chipset Family SATA AHCI Controller [8086:1c02] (rev 05)
Subsystem: Hewlett-Packard Company 6 Series/C200 Series Chipset Family 6 port Desktop SATA AHCI Controller [103c:330d]
	Kernel driver in use: ahci
	Kernel modules: ahci
