How to delete git remote(origin) branch or tag?
# branch
$ git branch -d BRANCH # delete local BRANCH
$ git push origin :BRANCH # delete remote BRANCH
# tag
$ git tag -d TAG # delete local TAG
$ git push origin :refs/tags/TAG # delete remote TAG

Find "*.log" files in your home dir, sort them by fattest-first, and calculate the size of them all together.

Checkout github pull requests locally

Locate the section for your github remote in the .git/config file. It looks like this:

[remote "origin"]
	fetch = +refs/heads/*:refs/remotes/origin/*
	url = [email protected]:joyent/node.git

Now add the line fetch = +refs/pull/*/head:refs/remotes/origin/pr/* to this section. Obviously, change the github url to match your project's URL. It ends up looking like this:
