You will need:

On the KVM source, run the following to create a VM:

Moving commits between branches

Example: Moving up to a few commits to another branch

Branch A has commits (X,Y) that also need to be in Branch B. The cherry-pick operations should be done in the same chronological order that the commits appear in Branch A.

cherry-pick does support a range of commits, but if you have merge commits in that range, it gets really complicated

git checkout branch-B
git cherry-pick X
git cherry-pick Y

creating base images with docker.

Docker Container/Image Basics

This is a basic step by step intro to working with Docker containers and Images. You should be able to follow along with your installation of docker, but be sure to change IDs/naming schemes according to your use case.

The goal of this exercise is to create a base image from the ubuntu base image that has both the jre and htop installed.

Start up an ubuntu container to modify, install htop, then exit.

docker run -t -i ubuntu /bin/bash

Get the ID of the container you just modified.

Run Node.js App as Ubuntu Upstart Service

###The Issue With Forever Forever is great for running node services, with a minor setback: the word "forever" doesn't apply to system reboots.

###The solution, run node apps as a system service logged in as root

vim /etc/init/node-app.conf

Contents for node-app.conf

highlight a pattern with PDFBox
The PDFTextAnnotator will accept a PDF and a pattern, it will highlight all occurances of that pattern in the document.
It inherits from the PDFTextStripper (so things like start end end page should still be configurable)
See the App file for a basic usage example
