Problem

I was training a deep learning model on Google Colab. I had to go somewhere for an emergency work. When I came back, I realized that Colab was disconnected; Therefore, I had to run the whole model again.

Solution

I searched on the Internet to solve this problem. I noticed that Colab will be disconnected if you don't click on the page. Here is an answer that I find:

function ClickConnect() {
  console.log('Working')

You can use this regular expression to match markdown links:

\[(.*?)\]\(.*?\)

Explanation:

  • \[ and \] match a literal open and close bracket.
  • (.*?) matches any character (.), repeated any number of times (*) but as few as possible (?). The brackets create a capture group.
  • \( and \) match a literal open and close parenthesis.
  • .*? matches any character, repeated any number of times but as few as possible.

  • Zero Downtime
  • Graceful shutdowns
  • Via Github Actions
  • Zero infrastructure management overhead

Overview

The general idea is to have Github Actions test, build and deploy a Rails app to Google Cloud Compute Engine.
