I’m assuming you already have Groovy’s GVM installed locally already.
Download the installation script for Go locally. You’ll want to edit it to change the installation directory:
1
2
3
4
5
6
BRANCH=${1:-master}
GVM_DEST=${2:-$HOME}
#THIS MUST BE PRESENT FOR Go GVM TO WORK!!!
unalias gvm
[[ -s "/home/rsrini/.gvm/scripts/gvm" ]] && source "/home/rsrini/.gvm/scripts/gvm"
gvm use go1.4 > /dev/null #This must present after giving gvm install go1.4 command.
