- Napili Bay ** awesome beach, very swimmable. This one is one of my favorites!!! Enter through Napili bay resort. They also have a nice restaurant where you can get a bite to eat between sun bathing/swimming.
- Kapalua - Neighboring beach to Napili Bay, we didn't make it to this one but really wanted to go. It's the beach at the Ritz Carlton
- Kaanapali ** Lovely long stretch of beach, not too crowded.
- Sugar beach - Super quiet beach
- Keawakapu beach ** Less crowded version of Wailea beach
- Mokapu beach park (in front of Andaz Maui)
- Duke Kahanamoku Lagoon on Friday for Fireworks
- Hike Makapupu Point
- Hike Diamond Head
- Kailua Beach & Lanikai Beach - my favorite beaches! so beautiful and near eachother. Kailua is longer stretch, easier for parking. Lanikai is worth it though to figure out parking and go to. We usually do Lanikai first, then move over to Kailua in afternoon.
- North Shore + Shrimps!
- Happy Hour @ Sheraton Waikiki (cute outdoor area on a deck with view of ocean for drinks/pupus)
- Phillipsburg - Dutch side capital where the cruise ships dock. Great duty free shopping and lots of restaurants, not a lot of nightlife. Great bay beach is here. Check out Front Street.
- Simpson Bay - Dutch side, the crossroads of the island. Has lots of restaurants, timeshare and is central to everything. The major marina is here.
- Maho - Dutch side. Next to the airport. Party central for the island. Restaurants, casinos, bars, nightclubs. Lots of action, lights and noise but very fun. Beach has crazy low flying planes. https://www.google.com/search?q=maho+beach+st+maarten&espv=210&es_sm=119&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ei=SckhU7nwMsXqoASawoDICg&ved=0CAoQ_AUoAg&biw=1427&bih=870
- Dawn Beach Eastern Dutch- French border. Quiet beach, nice villas, next to Westin but 15-30 min drive from everything.
