Largely based on the Tensorflow 1.6 gist, and Tensorflow 1.7 gist for xcode, this should hopefully simplify things a bit.

Create a folder to hold your custom bash commands

$ mkdir ~/.bin

No, seriously, don't. You're probably reading this because you've asked what VPN service to use, and this is the answer.

Note: The content in this post does not apply to using VPN for their intended purpose; that is, as a virtual private (internal) network. It only applies to using it as a glorified proxy, which is what every third-party "VPN provider" does.

What forces layout / reflow

All of the below properties or methods, when requested/called in JavaScript, will trigger the browser to synchronously calculate the style and layout*. This is also called reflow or layout thrashing, and is common performance bottleneck.

Generally, all APIs that synchronously provide layout metrics will trigger forced reflow / layout. Read on for additional cases and details.

Docker Machine OSX Autostart

This is a simple launchd config that will start your default docker-machine on startup. You can customize the machine that is started by updating lines 11 and 16 with the correct machine name.

Install

Copy the file com.docker.machine.default.plist below to ~/Library/LaunchAgents/com.docker.machine.default.plist.
Run the following in a terminal: launchctl load ~/Library/LaunchAgents/com.docker.machine.default.plist
Profit!

Debug your PHP in Docker with Intellij/PHPStorm and Xdebug

For your local dev, create a Dockerfile that is based on your production image and simply install xdebug into it. Exemple:
