Transcribing Cardi B's political speech with AWS Transcribe and command-line tools

Inspired by the following exchange on Twitter, in which someone captures and posts a valuable video onto Twitter, but doesn't have the resources to easily transcribe it for the hearing-impaired, I thought it'd be fun to try out Amazon's AWS Transcribe service to help with this problem, and to see if I could do it all from the bash command-line like a Unix dork.

The instructions and code below show how to use command-line tools/scripting and Amazon's Transcribe service to transcribe the audio from online video. tl;dr: AWS Transcribe is a pretty amaz

Git sees every file in your working copy as one of three things:

tracked - a file which has been previously staged or committed;
untracked - a file which has not been staged or committed; or
ignored - a file which Git has been explicitly told to ignore.

Ignored files are usually build artifacts and machine generated files that can be derived from your repository source or should otherwise not be committed. Some common examples are:

dependency caches, such as the contents of /node_modules or /packages
compiled code, such as .o, .pyc, and .class files

You know the pain, you cloned a repo over HTTPS, and now Git asks you for your password each time you want to push or pull.

Chances are you already have the git credential-osxkeychain command installed. If not, just install Git with brew: brew install git.

Once installed, just tell Git to use the KeyChain to store your credentials:

git config --global credential.helper osxkeychain

How to download your Udemy course videos using youtube-dl

Steps

Get link to the course to download. e.g. https://www.udemy.com/course-name/
Login into udemy website, save the cookie from chrome using Chrome (Cookie.txt)[1] export extension. Save it to file udemy-cookies.txt
Get the link of the video that you want to download. usually in format. Use the command provided below where you have to replace the {course_link} and {path_to_cookies_file} with respective paths.

$ youtube-dl {course_link} --cookies {path_to_cookies_file}

this algorithm 10x faster than https://www.dotnetperls.com/duplicates-go and zero allocation

Inbound Traffic for Swarm Management

TCP port 2377 for cluster management & raft sync communications
