Comparing libevent and libuv. My upfront biased: I want to like libevent. However, I want to objectively compare the two and make an informed decision.

All of the below properties or methods, when requested/called in JavaScript, will trigger the browser to synchronously calculate the style and layout*. This is also called reflow or layout thrashing, and is common performance bottleneck.

The trick? pass the file descriptor from a parent process and have the server.listen reuse that descriptor. So multiprocess in their own memory space (but with ENV shared usually)
It does not balance, it leaves it to the kernel.
In the last nodejs > 0.8 there is a cluster module (functional although marked experimental)
