How to proxy web apps using nginx?

Virtual Hosts on nginx (CSC309)

When hosting our web applications, we often have one public IP address (i.e., an IP address visible to the outside world) using which we want to host multiple web apps. For example, one may wants to host three different web apps respectively for example1.com, example2.com, and example1.com/images on the same machine using a single IP address.

How can we do that? Well, the good news is Internet browsers

A script to test the memory usage of your Rails application over time. It will run 30 requests against the specified action and report the final RSS. Choose the URL to hit on line 45 and then run with `ruby bench_rails_memory_usage.rb`.

How to push to multiple git remotes at once. Useful if you keep mirrors of your repo.

Pushing to Multiple Git Repos

If a project has to have multiple git repos (e.g. Bitbucket and Github) then it's better that they remain in sync.

Usually this would involve pushing each branch to each repo in turn, but actually Git allows pushing to multiple repos in one go.

If in doubt about what git is doing when you run these commands, just

defmodule GCM.PushCollector do
use GenStage
# Client
def push(pid, push_requests) do
GenServer.cast(pid, {:push, push_requests})
end
# Server
defmodule GCM.Pusher do
use GenStage
