Simple Github -> Discord webhook

Step 1 - Make a Discord Webhook

  1. Find the Discord channel in which you would like to send commits and other updates

  2. In the settings for that channel, find the Webhooks option and create a new webhook. Note: Do NOT give this URL out to the public. Anyone or service can post messages to this channel, without even needing to be in the server. Keep it safe! WebhookDiscord

Step 2 - Set up the webhook on Github

  1. Navigate to your repository on Github, and open the Settings Settings

How to diff your .sketch files in Git

Using sketchtool to diff your .sketch files using text

Requirements

You need to have SketchTool installed somewhere in your path.

Setup

Add this in your ~/.gitconfig file (for some reason, it won't work in a local .gitconfig file):

SCSS mixin to support vh and vw units on all iOS Safari versions. Based on an idea by Patrick Burtchaell's: https://gist.github.com/pburtchaell/e702f441ba9b3f76f587
/**
* Fix for vw, vh, vmin, vmax on iOS 7.
* http://caniuse.com/#feat=viewport-units
*
* This fix works by replacing viewport units with px values on known screen sizes.
*
* iPhone 6 and 6 Plus cannot run iOS 7, so are not targeted by this fix.
* Target devices running iOS 8+ will incidentally execute the media query,
* but this will still produce the expected result; so this is not a problem.

Rename field using migrations in django 1.7
To change a field name in django 1.7+
1. Edit the field name in the model (but remember the old field name: you need it for step 3!)
2. Create an empty migration
$ python manage.py makemigrations --empty myApp
3. Edit the empty migration (it's in the migrations folder in your app folder, and will be the most recent migration) by adding
migrations.RenameField('MyModel', 'old_field_name', 'new_field_name'),
to the operations list.
